The Edwardsport Volunteer Fire Department holds 2 fundraising events per year.

The annual bean supper is usually held the last Saturday in March, this event is a hometown favorite as many people from the community attend to help the Fire Department raise money for expenses.

Beans & cornbread, desserts, door prizes, and a raffle for merchandise from area retailers are a few highlights of the evening.



A chili cook-off is held during the Edwardsport Fall-Festival which is usually held the second week of September. Entries are taken from the community, visitors may have their taste for a free-will donation. All entries are judged and the winners get a trophy and bragging rights.
